Nguyen Dieu Thuy was
born in Ho Chi Minh City in 1962. After graduating from the
Conservatoire de Musique as a violinist, she embarked on her
painting career in 1991. Her work has since been included in
many Exhibits in Asia, Europe and North America. She is a
member of the Fine Arts Association of Ho Chi Minh City,
Vietnam.
Her subject matters include women in
traditional dress, semi abstract compositions of rice bowls,
still life, houses, and waterside scenes.
